There is a saying - early to be and early to rise, makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise. That's believable, all right, but I was a night owl since I was in college. My sleeping hours normally would be midnight up to 7 or 8 in the morning. I was attending evening classes then. When I got a job, that sleeping habit persisted for years. Maybe I was already 40 when I developed that habit of early to bed and early to rise. And when I quit smoking in 2007, my eyes would droop when the clock signals 10pm and I normally wake up at 5am or so.

Supposedly, night owls have more room to learn and are more intelligent. That may not be true but I actually feel more lethargic during the day then I feel during the night. I think the cool air helps me feel more awake than the blasted sun.

I'm both a night owl and early riser. I am because it's needed for my studies because if you don't have the determination, you will not survive.

I am a night owl! I find it too difficult to wake up early in thd morning but on days that I do I always tell myself i will keep waking up early as the fresh air and calm atmosphere is so lovely. Of course, that never happens though!
