Life is so unpredictable and short and we don't know when will our time come. We should all live every day like it is the last because you don't know when will you die.  There is a recent report about a Man in India who got killed by a Meteorite.  This Meteorite hit a college in Tamil Nadu in India. It got 3 other people injured and it resulted to one casualty.  Imagine, the people from this Campus are just living their daily grind and the never expected that a meteor from outer space will suddenly hit their school. I remember years ago a meteor also hits Russia but lucky for them, it hits a remote place so there are no casualties.

Yes, I saw that news!! It was the first time something like that happened, and it is very strange. First of all, you have to consider the possibility that God doesn't like, because a freaking meteorite fell in your head ! !(hahah). And second, what are the odds.... I read somewhere that the odds of something like that happening were like 1 / 7 billion or something like that.

A strange day for the universe, indeed.

Life always gives unexpected turns and it holds mystery every moment I guess. But still it has not been confirmed that it was a meteorite strike. NASA already declared that as per the photographs seen there were not conforming to a meteorite hit, but it was more of a land based explosion. According to NASA the hard particles that were recovered from the site could be of a common earth stone. There were news reported earlier about killing of farm animals, destruction of buildings and people’s limbs being amputated.

Whatever it was, it was quite unexpected for the victim and for the injured. I pray to almighty, may the departed soul rest in peace.

I get really scared sometimes because I think the world is gonna end. Everywhere I go, videos are everywhere saying 'Meteor Going To Hit Earth. I hate those videos and they really REALLY scare me. I always try to complete stuff that I wanted to do before I die by the world ending. And it never happens, but what if it did?

As you said "life is so unpredictable", it means we are unaware what will happen to us every minute, every hour, and so on and so forth. Well, we will do what the boy scout's motto is. That is always be prepared. And what are we going to prepare? Practically, our self to accept what will happen to us. Let's not forget to do good with others and doing good to our self too.

Well, truly life is so unpredictable. Just 3 days back I had a visit from a young fellow of 28, marketing his products and worrying about how things would be in future. Yesterday I heard that he is no more! He was electrocuted while handling some electric wires. He was married for 3 months only! What a tragedy.

For the same reason I was scared when my daughter got a very hard cold. It lasted only 3 days with a bronchitis for the next 7, and was treated from the day one. We got an extremely good medications so my kid was actually ill only for 2 days. But, Prince died at approximately the same time of some virus as well ( plus other things I guess...), I freaked out completely. You never know how serious things can be and obviously money means nothing.

That is a real bad news coming from India my heart goes out to the families of those affected by this predicament. Life is full of acts man cannot predict, this particular occurrence could have happened to any of us living on the surface of the Earth. One lesson we should take here let's always be prayerful that God should always spare our lives.

That is some really bad luck. Remember that life is short and you should enjoy it as much as possible.

Seriously, what are the odds?
That's some serious bad luck right there. There's a 1/12,000 chance to be struck by lightning in your life, the odds of being struck by a meteor or other space debris is 1/700,000, still occurs more that your chance to be struck by lightning in one year, 1/960,000. Insane.
