Post Count Awards

Now i've been looking at a couple people who have recommended an award for posting 500 post, or 1000.

To me this could be a great way to motivate people to keep active and posting, unfortunately for some this would mean spam LQ posts in order to get an award and in all reality the admin can't sift threw hundreds of our post to make sure they are all HQ.

I think this a bad idea, and shouldn't be added or considered. Maybe an award for an 'HQ' poster, or 'Talker' but i think adding numbers would be a mistake !

Anyways, yes. An award for post counts/quality of posting would be a good idea.

Probably true but if there is an award for say 500 post, don't you think that's going to drive people who are lower rep, with no awards to post spam to try and get one? I think the awards here should be earned, and I know if I spend less times on my posts I could easily have 500, but I spend time on all my posts and threads, and try to the best of my ability to explain, and give as much thought as I can! I think maybe people can nominate an HQ poster, but like i said awards to 500 posts to me, seems like a little more motivation for people to post spam! No dis to you, or others who have achieved a high post count while staying HQ
