Only know the German name "Die Schlacht im Teuteburger Wald". Barbaric triebs managed to slaughter legions of roman soldiers in a forest. Actually bin to the place it happened ^^

I love history, and have done very well in all college level history classes except for the history of Ancient Asia. The class fascinated me, but I could not remember names. As far as events fall, I would have to say the rise and fall of The Third Reich was the most fascinating thing to me. Not really an event, but still.

I would say the civil war learning about it realizing how much of an impact it made on early America, amazing honestly.
