How would you view these two short scenarios, a man marries one wife and keeps one or two concubines outside his matrimonial home. Another is married to two wives and keep no other woman or lady outside his marriage.

Now, looking at these two cases critically, if we consider them to be out of place, then which of the two outlines can we say or assume to be worse.

Both aren't good. A matrimony should always be between two people. Three is a crowd! There will always be regrets, pain and frustration at some point in time with more than 2 people involved.

I see no reason why one should be ''better'' than the other. If you choose to marry 2 people, you're not living happily and if you choose to have others outside of your marriage then that's not living happily with your marriage. I'd say, if you can't just stay with one, don't marry anyone.

Yes, I quite agree with you on that, a matrimony should simply be between a man and a woman. That said, however, there are places in the world where it is allowed for a man to marry more than one wife especially if he is capable of caring for them, and they have no problem with that. Now, which is more justifiable marrying more than one wife with no concubine or marrying one wife with concubine(s) or girlfriend(s).

I think sometimes even one woman is hard to deal with, so in both cases he is not going to have a great time :) He needs to have a nerves of steel for that kind of situation.

Yes both are not good. But if I have to choose one from these two, then I will go for the second one.

I think its a madness, that do not see what can be good in those two things, everything must be done between two people to agree that no one can be in second place.

Both are equally bad in my opinion. In either scenario the man is cheating on all woman, I can't imagine myself being with to or three men, that is just not me nor anyone should be like that. Every person should only have one companion period, a couple must have true love.

Wow, I would have to to agree with all of the above, both situations a bad. There are no happy endings in sight for those types of marriages. No matter how you try to please one, the other will not be happy, one person requires all of the marital attention (I guess you guys can tell I'm not married) especially if kids are involved. Most definitely three is a crowd.
