Obviously, Hollywood is the most successful in film production. As an asian, I know India, china, korea also get some market share.
But for European country, I don't clearly know which country is the most successful in movie making. I have watch some European movie such as English, Italian, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc. Except English and Italian, some are just one or two movie I watched.
Because some member of LZ are from Europe countries, they can answer suitble reason.
Please share your opinion, which Europe country is the most successful in film making career?

The French scene is quite strong. But lacks diversity, and the level of most actors is just going down. They only based themself on already great actors, but they are getting old.
I think the Spanish are investing in it to become a bigger scene. The English scene might be hurt by the fact that they have the same language than Hollywood, meaning that most successful english actors and staff will be brought to Hollywood and it will be hard for them to refuse.

Because it's easy for them to do so. Some French actors try to do it, but the language barrier might make it hard for them. So far the most famous would be Jean Reno thanks to Luc Besson, and more actual one would be Marion Cotillard (the wife of Di Caprio in Inception), and Omar Sy (played in some blockbusters)
