Many people believe that physical activities play a great role in safety and healthy life. They think routine, normal, and regular body exercise help them to decrease many types of serious illnesses. For instance, physical activities reduce the risk of overweight and obesity, Cardiovascular disorders, Type 2 Diabetes (would likely occur in elderly) , Some Malignancies, Depression and mental health, etc.

To what extent do you have regular physical activities in your routine programs? What kind of exercise do you prefer mostly?

I have the same opinion, in the past when farming was more, when vehicles on the road were less, we used to have more physical activity. That could be one reason for a lesser number of diseases at that time. Modern medical science has proven that physical activity can influence immunity, hormonal balance and better mental activity.

It is true that physical activities are essential or maintaining good health. Every morning I used to walk for 1 hour which helps to refresh my body and mind. After that I do some simple exercises. I do not sit continuously in a place but find time to walk for a few minutes in between. I believe that instead of doing heavy exercises, if we can involve in some household activities like gardening, etc., we can remain physically healthy. If we can find some time to meditate everyday, it will rejuvenate our mind and give us more confidence.

I have sedentary kind of life style. I work from home and most of the time you will find me sitting on a chair and working on my laptop. However, I always avoid driving to the place that can be reached by 30 minutes walk, I also go for a long walk in the evening

I think the main form of exercise I do is walking because I try to incorporate it into my daily life i.e. walking to college and all other places within a reasonable walking distance. I also do some exercises for about 30 minutes a few mornings per week.

My father was a certified workaholic. When I was in grade school, I remember him working overtime continuously, like coming home just to get new clothes. Our house was being constructed so we needed extra money for that. It’s a good thing that overtime work in my father’s office was unlimited at the time.

As I grew up, I saw my father with the house chores like waxing the floor or cleaning the ceiling when he has no work. In short, he is a busybody who never become idle unless he is taking a nap. When he was 80, he can still lift the heavy LGP tank when our stove runs out of gas. And I attribute that strength of his for his active lifestyle.

Indeed regular exercises can't be stressed upon more. They are the core to healthy self. I am lazy. I find sometimes I do have about 10 minutes on my hand but instead of jumping on the treadmill I find excuses not to. I exercise on bouts not regularly and daily walk only about 12 minutes a day, mostly briskly.

I've been getting more into weight lifting the past year. I started with minor lifting and heavy cardio to lose weight since I was 280lbs at the time. Now I am more weight training base with some cardio. I tend to go 6 days a week, so it's pretty much in my routine.

I can say first-hand that exercise and physical activity can keep you physically, and mentally, healthy. It has been proven that physical activity and exercise can cause people to feel more happy and energetic once they make working out a common routine in their lives.

I think that endurance is pretty much the main thing. By the latest discoveries we became what we are as a specie because of a 'torture' activities such as for example running.
You can always walk, swim, do yoga ... there are lots of things.

i am exercising my whole life and I think benefits are countless. Not just weight regulation and prevention of diseases but mostly mental health. First of all, the most underrated antidepressant is exercising. It boost confidence, it makes you feel better in all kinds of way. I regular almost every day, or at least 4-5 times a week. Rest days are also important of course, but 3 times a week is minimum. Even 30 minutes can be enough.
