Why and Why?

This is the big question that bothers me before and after the conduct of our national and local elections which were already closed since yesterday.

The people had manifested their sentiments for the dissatisfaction of the incumbent president for incompetence, graft and corruption, among others. Thus, they wanted to have a change and they wanted to have a person who has the guts and the courage to effect that "change" they aimed for.

Now, they had made it. They had elected their presidential bet with a very wide margin of votes against his 4 opponents.

They need change for the government. But why are not willing to change themselves, their attitude of finding faults, of being critical? Why and why?

Christ Himself said that the people should love one another as He had loved them.

With the advent of the social media, people just want to express themselves, called meme, just for the sake of posting. But there are those rabid fans and supporters whose aim is to satisfy themselves by venting their ire on social media. In other words, it is the freedom of expression that is making those ugly people to post ugly messages. As what we hear now from the traditional media, the recent election have broken friendship and family relatsionship... all because of social media.
