Periodic Table
The Periodic table is a chart the contains a list of 118 elements broke down into 18 Groups. It looks like this:
Groups
The current groups are the alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, coinage metals, pnictogens, pnictogens, halogens and the noble gases.

Elements
Elements are currently in order by their Atomic Mass which Atomic Mass meaning the mass of an isotopes in a atom.

Bohr's Model Atom
Bohr was a scientist who found the current atomic structure and quantum theory. Basically mean that a atom's Protrons and Neutrons circle the atom's Nucleus. Here's a Bohr's Model Oxygen. [Image: epuMQum.gif]

Balancing Equations

Basically when you have a Equation you'll see little numbers below the Atom in a equation those are called Coefficients. Here's what a Chemical Equation looks like [Image: 6W0bhsY.gif] basically to balance it you have to find the LCM or Least Common Multiple of all the coefficients in the equation.

This is a very good basic lesson on chemistry, I hope that you will post more about it and maybe eventually you can give a full class on it. I am not saying you need to though, just that it might help some people really understand it.

Would you mind helping me with these types of questions?

What is the boiling point of a solution that contains 120 g glucose dissolved in .200 kg water?

What is the molarity of a water solution that boils at 101.70 degrees C?

I've done these questions in the beginning of the year and don't exactly know how to finish them now. I am afraid they will be on bigger tests in the future so I would like to be caught up.

Thanks!

Actually just learned Bohr Models this year, along with, "Products & Reactants."
