This is one of the most painful part of owning a pet. Letting them go is just the hardest I find. I have kept and lost several. I buried my last cat as someone who was jealous of it in my neighbourhood poisoned it!

I am a cat lover, and I'm so sorry. The people who do that would be punished by the cat in the hereafter.

I bury them in my backyard. If I am financially better I will have my pets cremated and have their ashes converted into diamond. Yes there is now a technology to do that.

I simply bury them somewhere away from my home otherwise I would be mourning very hard all day long.

When I first dog died, we had her buried in the backyard. We even had a sort of tomb for her. But after some months, we learned of a crematorium for pets which my wife called. We hired a person to unearth our dog which was (double) wrapped in transparent plastic. Her body was still intact. The crematorium staff picked up the cadaver and came back with a wooden box containing the ashes.

When our second dog died, we also had him cremated. Both wooden boxes are here in our living room.

I bury my dead pets in my garden under the fruit trees. I have buried three pets so far, two dogs and one cat.
