I am a big fan of Mozilla Firefox and it is running quite well in my laptop. In fact I was using Google Chrome earlier and found it eating away my CPU memory a lot. It almost freezes my laptop at times. It also uses multiple Chrome.exe files in the background and I don’t know why they are using multiple .exe files? You can check it through task manager when Google Chrome is running in your computer. These exe files consume a lot of memory which in turn make my computer numb.
Has anybody got an idea about why Google Chrome uses multiple exe files?

Do you use plug ins and applications with your Google Chrome browser? Sometime the apps are the reason. The browser I am using at this moment is Maxthon because of all the good things it can do. I also love how light weight it is. When it comes to Android devices. I love UC browser because it can download files faster even with slow connection.

I am not sure in it. But I guess if we use multiple tabs on chrome, it creates multiple .exe process for them. This is what I notice. I don't know the reason behind it. But it seems so.
