A school tip I highly recommend for any student is to just do your work. It's a simple, common, but yet one of the most ignored advice. A lot of students do not follow this advice, "I AM DOING MY WORK!" That is what i hear everyday, on a daily basis. Students don't realize that they are subconsciously saying this. They say it but they don't mean it. They are not doing their work, they might be, but their attention span on something stale and not fun is probably under 15 seconds.
Another tip I recommend is to make friends that builds your character, just because the popular kids get the spotlight doesn't mean you have to be one of them. Just be yourself, you WILL make friends. Don't worry about it. True friends stay with you for life, while friends disguised as enemies will end up hurting you. I had to learn this the hard way.
Peer pressure is something you should watch out for, just because everybody drinks and they say it is cool doesn't mean you have to. Heck, if they stop being your friends jut for that, they aren't your true friends. Learn when to say no and how to use it effectively, don't be a jerk and yell at them if they don't listen the first time. A lot of people are thick, believe me, I'm one of them, I don't back down in any discussion about game theories unless you put it to my face.
Teachers are human too, you have to know that. Sometimes, teachers might be just what you need to get through highschool. I got through highschool with 3 best friends and 5-6 teachers who I always talk to on a daily basis. Not just about school, but life decisions and the important things. They lived twice your age, (well, most of them) they should be able to tell what you're saying by just hearing it. Don't be afraid to befriend a teacher. I used to have a chemistry teacher I talk to everyday at lunch. He opens his classroom at lunch for kids to come in and hang out. That's where I met and befriend 2 of my best friends and also the teacher. I still talk to him now and we go out to chow sometimes.

A huge tip that I used to improve my grades was studying when you first hear about a test. It is so much better to do that than to cramp it into 1 or 2 days.

It's easy for you to say, anyone got advice on a guy with learning disabilities like me?

I hardly tip at school, that's absurd. I usually save my tipping for restaurants.
