HOW TO SET UP A SERVER WITHOUT PORT FORWARDING (HAMACHI)

Just a side note, in order for your friends to play on the server, They Must have Hamachi installed. I will get to that in a minute.

STEP 1:
Download Hamachi Here: http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/download
STEP 2:
Install Hamachi and change the settings to your likings.
STEP 3:
Click on the network button on the nav bar.
STEP 4:
Create a new network and name it whatever you like.
there should be a password.
STEP 5:
Download the server software here: http://www.minecraft.net/download/Minecr...4260938535
Place the .exe file into a folder, unless you want it to spam your desktop.
STEP 5:
Run the Server.exe file. When you see the message: DONE!
close the server and go into the same folder as the .exe file.
there will now be a lot of .txt files. im not going to worry about configuring those now.
STEP 6:
Click Server-Properties and open it in notepad or whatever.
go down to server IP and enter the ip address in your hamachi window, which can be found next to your name at the top of the screen.
STEP 7:
run the server.exe file again. it should connect to the hamachi ip properly.
STEP 8:
Go into minecraft and enter in the hamachi ip address, which can be found next to your name at the top of hamachi.
STEP 9: LET THE GAME LOAD!
it will crash the first 1 or 2 times. do not worry.
also it will be extremely laggy for about 2 minutes.
GETTING YOUR FRIENDS TO PLAY WITH YOU:
STEP 1:
tell your friends to Download Hamachi Here: http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/download
STEP 2:
your friends should go to the network tab, and connect to an existing network. enter the network credentials.
STEP 3:
Your friends must enter in the SAME IP ADDRESS that you put in the server.properties file.
STEP 4:
HAVE FUN!
