i have a Rat experience since 2010 i think
windows / Android so far

you can remove a rat without an antivirus if you know what to do.

A factory reset should remove any malware you have on your phone.

Are there Malware that is persistent enough to survive a factory reset? 
also how do you make sure that your data is completely wiped from a reset?
can files be recovered from memory? like how when you delete a file on PC it is never truly deleted unless overwritten???
