This version of the song by Bob Marley is my favorite. He recorded it after he was shot in his house in Jamaica, and was so depressed that his people could do that to him, that he left the country in pure sadness. You can really hear the authentic dispair in his voice. Bob did eventually return to the country, only to reunite the political parties and stop the violence.
