Ever been trapped at home?

Sometimes this happens after a snowstorm - or some other natural disaster.  Sometimes this happens when you run out of cash for various reasons.  Anyway, how do you cope - especially if food supplies are low?  Well, it's always good to have some peanut butter or something to tide you over - and especially, try to work and not think about food, lol.

Anyway, there was this huge storm where I live in 1993.  The power was out for a week I think.  That was probably the worst situation I had dealt with.  Well, I was trapped at home for two weeks once I think - but the power didn't go out - or it didn't go out very long.

Luckily in my country the weather is not too extreme so I have never encountered this.
