I love to learn about different places.  So why not tell us where you currently live and a little about it.

Currently I live in the state of Nevada in the United States.  I live in a very small farming/mining community, as a matter of fact the place I am currently staying is right next to a major farm that provides potatoes, Alfalfa, and wheat to the food industry.  It gets very cold and snowy during the winter and summers are very hot here.  There is not much of a spring or fall to mention because the transition is so subtle you do not even notice it.  There is a lot of wildlife here.  We have Coyotes, White Tail Deer, Elk, Ground Squirrels, Badgers, and so many varieties of birds it is hard to mention them all.  The only thing really missing here is trees, we have tons of sagebrush that we jokingly call the Nevada state tree.  They are about 2 feet tall.

I live in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. I have a farm in a small village in western Nepal.
Nepal is the birthplace of the Buddha and home to highest mountains in the world, including Everest, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri etc. There are over 1500 mountains in Nepal, which are more than 5000 meters tall

I live in a village in the beautiful state of Kerala in India. Kerala is a land of coconuts, temples, festivals, elephants and rituals. Renowned for its natural beauty with its lush green hill stations, awesome beaches, serene backwaters, exotic wildlife, and amazing culture, Kerala is nicknamed as ‘God’s own country’ and attracts tourists from all over the globe.

I live on the East Coast of Canada. It is very beautiful here with lots of nature and great scenery.
We are known for our Reversing Falls and for having the Highest Tides in the World. There is so
many beautiful Provincial Parks and great places to go camping. We are, also, known for our
abundance of seafood. It is some of the best in the world. I have lived here my entire life and I
really can't think of anywhere else I would rather live.

It is great to hear about where all of your live. What a wonderful post!

Wow! @toradrake and @Ramakrishnan, it looks like you live in real paradises. I know that life must be not all that utopian for you and would have your own problems, but still living a place surrounded by so much vegetation and natural scenery is a real bonus for us city folks.

I live in the city of Pune in India. My city is in the state of Maharashtra, West of India and is called as the Oxford of the East as there are a large number of universities and colleges in Pune. Students from all over the country as well as the world come to study here. Pune is surrounded by beautiful hill ranges from all sides, and used to be covered with many trees until quite recently. Sadly, thousands of trees have been cut and many on the way of destruction and many hills have been flattened to make way for increasing population.

Thankfully, there is a small hill range quite close to my home and a group of citizens has initiated tree plantation on it. We also help in watering the trees occasionally.

The city I live in is very small, it's called Udine, and it's in the north-east of Italy, close to Venice, Austria and Slovenjia. You can reach these wonderful places in 2 hours by car or 3 hours by train (more or less). Austria is nice, it's got great landscapes and clean, cozy cities, those typical houses with wooden roofs and delicious food. Slovenja is more modern, the nearest city is called Nova Gorica and it's virtually a little Las Vegas, with lots of casinos. Venice is one of my favourite cities in the world, with those canals, bridges and unique architecture. My town is not so beautiful, even though there are some venetian influences in some buildings and it's a quiet place. Well, maybe too  quiet.

I currently live in Spain. I moved here about six years ago and it has been a great experience living here to be honest. I've had good and bad times and I've learned from many mistakes that I've made here. When I came here I had no clue about talking in spanish even though my native language comes from latin as well which share common roots and similarities when it comes to grammar. I hope I'm going to find a job here since I've graduated from High School last year and would really love to start working. If things go well I may visit some great places here. :D

All my life I have lived in Nepal, my home country. I have visited China and India, but I have not spent a night in another country except my home country. In Nepal, I live in a small village. Every day I travel about 10 kilometer to the town to work.
