Have you ever been stuck in a lift?

Getting stuck in a lift is a normal experience for some people while its a nightmare for others. Have you ever been stuck in a lift? What did you do till you got out? How was the experience?

I was very often stuck in the elevator, especially one day when he took the light, so I thought it's not true, I spent an hour in the elevator until someone opened the door and pulled me out of there, it is a madness especially as panic a little.

Yes, sure, 3 or 4 times. The worst thing that can happen is being bored to death :P

Just once and that too for a few minutes only. I was in Kolkata a decade back where we still have very old buildings and old lifts and some of them are open ones. I was on one such lift when it stuck in between 3rd and the fourth floor because of power outage. The man who operated generator was not around but the power came back in few minutes.

It happens to me only one time. Normally I avoid lift (even on my apartment) because I prefer stairs for healthy purpose. But because of hurry sometimes I can't avoid it at all. So from them one time I did stuck in the lift due to power cut. But I was lucky as power came back in just five minutes and we came out of it without any trouble.

Yes, 10 minutes or something. A woman who was inside with me started to act weird so I moved away as far as I could and pray that camera is still working and that she is not a fruit cake who will accuse me for try to rob her or something.
Another time I was stuck with a guy who couldn't stop talking. That was even worse.

No, I have never been stuck in a lift. I can't imagine how the feeling will be like to be helpless inside a lift, that will be really terrible. I pray I don't ever get to experience that.

I have been stuck in an elevator once. It was about an hour's wait and the only thing I had to battle with was hunger. The panicking people were keeping me entertained enough by helping them stay calm. It wouldn't be so bad if I weren't so hungry.

Lol. This is indeed a good read! I have been stuck once. The last floor the elevator caters for was 4th but somehow it kept going halfway between 4th and 5th! Someone came to rescue me though!
