Regular TV vs. Netflix

Is it just me or there is nothing good to watch on regular TV. I used to watch Criminal Minds and that was awesome. But now since I moved, the channels they have here are boring. In contrast, Netflix has a lot of shows and options but it can get addicting. Did I really just sit through 5 seasons? What do you prefer?

I honestly can't say. I mean I appreciate both of them, TV is when I don't really know what to watch. Netflix is when I have a certain genre/movie that I want to watch!

If I had to choose one platform to watch it would be youtube.

Where I live, they have some good shows on there I still watch. Specially for women that like their novels.

Regular TV is forcing content over you while Netflix allows you to watch any movie or show in their library, anytime you want and wherever you want.

I really enjoy having control over the content I want to watch, when I want to watch.

Shows on Tv have a higher chance of getting cancelled, over shows from Netflix. Netflix cares more about the fans of their originals.

Tv chanels have become boredom except for some occasional event like movie awards or a dance show otherwise the serials are routine and movies are repeated so many times that you could vitually know the dialogue by heart.

I have never watched Netflix because it is not available here in my home country. Since I haven't watched netflix, I cannot draw comparison between TV and Netflix. However,I also feel that TV is boring.
