This is something i have had my hands in on and off for a while now, i figured a new set of writes hurt.

How To Install Apps
download the LiveCD disc image (iso)
Live-Androis.iso
OR for all the R-S premium users like myself
Live android on R-S
Just burn the image to a disc, stick it in a CD-ROM drive, and reboot your computer and you can check out Android without installing it or affecting any files on your PC.
You can also use the disc image in a virtualization application like VirtualBox, VMWare or Microsoft Virtual PC if you want to try the operating system without even rebooting your computer.
If your feeling spunky you CAN install a touchscreen panel!
I however did not.
Download & Boot
liveandroid v0.1
1. Download androidv0.1.part1.rar/androidv0.1.part2.rar/androidv0.1.part3.rar, unzip it. you'll get androidv0.1.iso
mirror: G-Android <---- hosting in Vietnam
2. use androidv0.1.iso in vmware or virtualbox to your taste.
3. boot and enjoy!
liveandroid v0.2
1. Download liveandroidv0.2.iso.001/liveandroidv0.2.iso.002
on windows, use --->HJSplit <---
OR
Mirror HJSplit to join it.
If on linux, cat liveandroidv0.2.iso.001 liveandroidv0.2.iso.002 > liveandroidv0.2.iso
2. Check md5sum via MD5sums
OR
Mirror MD5sums
liveandroidv0.2.iso MD5: 03852bce8cb26aba21d147153c1fb120
3. use liveandroidv0.2.iso in vmware or virtualbox to your taste. of cource, you can burn it as a LiveCD.
4. boot and enjoy!

liveandroidv0.2.iso support DHCP, if you want to configure in console, press alt+F1, then

Gateway
route add default gw yourgateway dev eth0

Windows 8 without any tweaks is pretty much a phone OS with all its metro apps, you should just use that xD. Loljk, nice share bro.

Yes that is true, i have 8 and 8.1 and it is just like a bigger smart phone with the touch screen and all with the similar looking app icons.
