Need help writing a speech

So hi guys,
I go to a french school and the teacher gave us a task to write an speech about any social issues so I chose discrimination toward minorities. I have no clue where to start so it would nice if you guys could give me a starter kick. I don't necessarily want you to write the speech for me. One last thing, my grade is around 85% in english and as I am in a french school, the teacher would find it suspicious if I had a big ass speech worth like Martin Luther King. A 80% would be good for me.

PS: I can change my subject anytime so if you feel more confortable writing about animal cruelty or disparity between rich/poor, it is all yours.

Okay, so speeches are kinda my thing. Well, writing is, anyway. Before I was a psychology major, I was an English major. I had to write a lot of papers, speeches (even if we didn't actually read them out loud to the rest of the class) and formal reports.
If you'd like me to help, can you PM me with details on this specific assignment? I mean, I obviously won't write the entire thing for you, but I'm totally willing to help! ^=^
