I usually resolve IP by email or online links.
Are there any better methods for doing this?
Do it the DeLiLa-Way, use some online Skype-Resolver!
You could also use WireShark, Fiddler or simply the Windows Resource-Monitor when you have a direct connection to the target.

You can use cmd to do this too send a pic to someone through a messenger and get the ip that way once they hit accept on the file.

Cain and Able is on that retro shit, You need to use Comm View or LANC both of which are easy, free and are more effected than cain. They do not lag your connection and LANC actually gives you a copy and paste as well as a name section to save ips. There are also online loggers where it shortens a random ULR and when people click it, it will grab their IP, Location, Internet Browser and what ever else it can dig out. A large majority of the Online booters will have this as an added bonus

Skype resolvers, probably already been said, but that's the method I use the most.
