Fine. Be a jerk.
:P

I tried doing some research, but the information was rather vague. It seems that if he does not upload a portion of the Minecraft file, and purchases it soon after, no legal actions can be made against him after the purchase.

IGN needs to review it, before I can consider it.

No offense, but IGN is full of idiots.
If your opinion of a game is based off a "professional's" opinion, at least have it from Game Trailers.

Listening to only one game reviewer is not something I would do. Everyone has different tastes, though the entire gaming population does have the more or less same opinion on games when it's averaged. You should check out more reviews, ask friends if they know about it, check out in-game previews, and decide for yourself.

I don't listen to any reviewers. I talk to actual people, not someone who is paid to say something about a game. I talk to someone who has similar tastes in games that I do.
If they say it's good, I'll watch some gameplay videos. If I think that looks good, I'll get a demo (if possible), or play it at the friend's house.

I incorporate everything, if it gets terrible reviews, I'll ask a friend, and if nobody has it, what's the point of playing?

Minecraft has grown at rapid rates it's AMAZING.

I've never plyed Minecraft, after seeing the "trailer" I couldn't see the point of it.

There's a reason behind the rapid growth, you should try it out and see what it's all about.
