The thing about macs, is that back many years ago, they used to be different.  There was once a day where Apple made all of their own hardware, and because of that things were different. It was what set them apart from other computers.  These days, macs pretty much contain all of the same stuff as other computers, same component and everything, yet they just have the Apple name on them, and a higher markup.  It's all about personal preference really, and which operating system you prefer pretty much.  Also, want a regular PC to perform better at some things and perform poorly at games?  Just get a workstation video card, and there you go.

I think this is very tough decision! Both have there pros and Cons. PC is better for gaming. Mac is better for things such as photoshop music / video editing.

Macs are better because you can run any operating system you want.

There are so much editing software, Photoshop, Gimp, Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, blah blah. You don't need the best video editing software out there in the world. You can have Sony Vegas and have somebody using Windows Movie maker make a better quality video. Just by having a Mac doesn't make you a better video editor, musician, or whatever. Just because you have poor editing software doesn't mean you suck. The only good editing software just for a Mac I can state right off the bat is Final Cut Pro. Macs are just as good as PCs for editing software.

PC's typically cost less money. And people get the impression that just because a Mac is more expensive, it is better. No. Lets see two computers with similar costs, a Mac, and a PC.

PC - http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/c...aurora-alx

Mac - http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/sh...TM3NDk0NjU

Same prices. But the PC has much much much better Specs and costs the same amount. [b]$1,999.00 I MEAN HOLY SHIT ITS EVEN ALIENWARE LOL.

A mac would be a much better deal. But if you do start a conversation about Mac vs PC you will get nowhere.

Definitely PC. I have been using PC all my life and it is just so much better for me than Mac. But that isn't to say that Mac is bad! Oh no, they're both very good systems but I prefer PC. :P
