Which method do you prefer to connect to the internet? By a router (wirelessly) or an ethernet cord (blue/yellow wire) that connects to your modem? Also, why do you prefer that method and why not the other?
To be honest I prefer connecting wirelessly. Why? Because I'm on a laptop and would like to carry it around my house or anywhere I go. I know the internet is a bit slower but 20MB speed is good enough for me since I just browse the web. If I was on a desktop which I never will be on again, I'd connect by an ethernet cord. I don't notice much of a difference when on the ethernet cord but I do know for a fact that it does go faster. Why? Since I can't move the desktop I'd rather just prefer the faster one and the internet is a bit faster compared to wireless.Â

ethernet since I can now place my desktop anywhere, not just where there's a wall socket, and it allows iPods to use internet.

I use both. My modem is only a G rating for wireless so if I'm in Ethernet range I always plug it in. I also have a lot of black spots in my house so sometimes the signal drops all together (if I'm on laptop or phone).
Some newer routers exceed the maximum speed of a standard Ethernet cable but with new Gigabyte Ethernet cables I don't think it will be worth getting one. Also, Most ISP's only have an average speed of 24Mbit.
Basically, Ethernet Pwnz.
