Alcohol good for health?

I've heard that a certain amount of alcohol is required and it's better if a certain amount is consumed. Any thought on this matter?

As French we usually say that drinking one glass a wine a day is good for your health. But that's just an excuse to drink.

I am not sure whether your opinion is right or not. My grandpa lived until over 90 and never seen he was drinking. But for me, i like whisky any brand  ?

You can survive long without, but a small drink every now and then won't hurt either

I plan on drinking every now and then not every night like most people do around me.
