Unusual pets

I have a cat, but also a pet snail.

Yes like a SpongeBob, but his name is not Gary but Terry. He voke up from the hibernation and literary looks like a piece of feces. For the last few weeks I am trying to revive him but he behaves very ill and slow.
At the moment he is chopping on a piece of a tomato in a speed that challenges the dimension of time...
I know this sounds ridiculous, but - 'things big and small' - can all be pets.
