Well, well...

A lot of possibilites, mate !
To keep it simple, wiping disk will also remove your operating system. So, you'll have to install another one. That's why in every installation disk, there is an option to wipe the disk before installing the new OS.

If you want to install a Linux OS, just download any Live DVD of your choice, and boot on it . When installing, choose to install the new OS on the whole disk.

If you want to install Windows, you can use the DVD included in the original box, or burn a new one. And boot on it, and install Windows on the whole disk to !
