Need Advice...

My mother /hated/ my first boyfriend. She constantly would try to get me to go out and hang out with other guys, and tell me he's ugly and I deserved better etc. After awhile i started believing the things she was saying and i broke up with him. I think that she was worried that she was losing me, i was spending more time with him and i was really close to his family. But she's my mother lol, so i am going to listen to her. I think that you should try and butter her up. Invite her to dinners or send her gifts and go out with her and your girl. If the parents are happy, she'll be relieved and everything will be easier.
