What should the legal driving age be?

Personally, I believe the legal driving should stay as it is. (I'm from NYC, so it's 18 years of age here.)
At this point, you're a good 3 years from being able to legally purchase alcohol, and with 3 years of driving under ones belt the likelihood of an accident upon turning 21 and being exposed to alcohol, I'd like to believe is less than that of a 21 year old just obtaining their license and being able to legally purchase alcohol at the same time.
