The State of Washington has a Mutual Combat Law, under RCW 9.08.070

Quote:"A person is guilty of a misdemeanor if he engages in or provokes combat with another person or persons upon the streets, walks or other areas of the city open to the public, or upon unauthorized private areas, unless such combat constitutes regularly scheduled and sanctioned sporting events such as boxing, wrestling, or the martial arts, where safety precautions are taken to reduce serious physical injury."

If you call the police and want to square off with someone, you agree to the terms of the fight with safety precautions in place. As soon as a person gives up or is knocked out, that is it. 50/50 chance of both getting tickets for inciting violence. Happens in Seattle most often between the Superhero Martial Arts guy and lawbreakers.

Beef it out in front of the cops, I think yes.
