Normally, any type of murder comes with a heavy sentence, if it was premeditated, deliberate, reckless or negligent. 25% of cop killers end up getting paroled after 10 years.

Police officers are public servants who risk their lives each day, putting on that vest, badge, uniform and gun. Yet people try to escape justice by killing those who are trying to uphold the law and protect the innocent. Killing a cop is the most coward action I have ever seen. I have had many friends die in Afghanistan, and there is a freaking war going on here at home, with criminals. Their job, is to uphold laws to ensure everyone has equal rights and can live without the fear of harm. Yet someone has to come along and try to escape justice, and makes it worse by taking a life that was trained to defend.

Below is a link where you can submit a hearing to the Supreme Court on a suspect (or convicted killer) to deny them parole. If it was your father, mother, son, daughter, friend... etc. would you want the person who took your heroes life to walk free again?

Quote:Can you lay your life down, so a stranger can live?
Can you take what you need, but take less than you give?
Could you close every day, without the glory and fame?
Could you hold your head high, when no one knows your name?
That's how legends are made, at least that's what they say.

We say goodbye, but never let go.
We live, we die, cause you can't save every soul.
Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the kinda man who;
Will never look back, never look down,
and never let go.

Can you lose everything, you ever had planned?
Can you sit down again, and play another hand?
Could you risk everything, for the chance of being alone?
Under pressure find the grace, or would you come undone?
That's how legends are made, at least that's what they say?
