Room and Board

While it's not disrespectful or bad to NOT give your parents a place to live, it is a very thoughtful thing to do. If the child has enough money, then yes. It's a normal thing to do, and it is a way to show appreciation for all your parents have done for you. [spoiler]Assuming that room and board means letting them live with you. I didn't know what it meant, and it took a bit of effort to find the definition.[/spoiler]

By this ideology can I assume If the child was not financially able to do so is it expected that he/she find an alternate means of assistance?
