@FBI I'm going for the Google Pixel 3a and spending $250 or so. Last years phone $150 off. Most I'll spend once I have a job would be around $600 I'd say.

That's nice of you. The phones I want to buy are either out of my price range or they don't work with my carrier.. Stupid cdma bands
I couldn't sell them for more than 50, so yeah, doesn't mean much when you look at the price i bought it, so it's better to give them (and usually you can see that they have fallen quite a few times)
I mean if people don't want to pay for a new one they'll accept an old one.
