He tries to convince people that he's the victim, not the unsub.

Yes, it was him! It's crazy.

I am so interested in serial killers, being a man who likes to know about why people do what they do, and the hidden motivations both positive and negative are completely unexplainable. It's just I wish I could really know what they are thinking, how they are feeling and what in their head is telling them that what they are doing needs to be done!
Very interesting topic of conversation you have started here !

YES! I knew what you had written sounded familiar. Gacy was a sick man. But I love learning about him.

As am I! I am obsessed with serial killers; how their mind works, what methods they use, what they do to/with their victims. Honestly, being able to dive into one of their minds is one of the most exciting things I can even begin to daydream about. I remember how David Berkowitz (known as "The Son of Sam") claimed that he believed that demons were within his victims and were telling him to hurt people, and he even thought his neighbor's dog was possessed by the devil so he shot it.

Do you guys know who Andrei Chikatilo is? If not, I can shed some light on him and what he'd done.
If so, what are your opinions on him?

Yes it is absolutely amazing, and I mean obviously not the killing people part, but just the thoughts they have, I honestly can say I'd give near anything to have their thoughts if only even for a minute!

I don't know who Andrei Chikatilo is, but would love to find out!

I'm reading about a serial killer called Angel Maturino Resendiz better known as the railroad killer, and just read that he's killed somebody in my city where my house is near.

"August 29, 1997, Lexington, Kentucky, Christopher Maier, 21 years old. He was a University of Kentucky student walking along nearby railroad tracks with his girlfriend, Holly, when the two were attacked by Reséndiz, who bludgeoned Maier to death with a 52 pound rock. Reséndiz raped and severely beat Maier's girlfriend, who nearly died as a result. "

I live next to the traintracks by UK. (University of Kentucky)
I'll try to get a image of the location by googling more, and take a pic of the place now. This is crazy!

I knew what you meant. (: Honestly, most people who aren't in the same state of mind as they are probably wouldn't be able to handle it. Studies show that many serial killers have had hyperactive brain activity.

Andrei Chikatilo is a Russian serial killer who would rip apart his victims with his teeth.

His first murder was in a coalmining town. She was 9 years old. He attempted to rape her but couldn't get an erection. Instead, he started beating and choking her, he stabbed her, and in that process, he ejaculated. So he got off on muder. He was... an interesting man.

Don't forget he wasn't arrested for that murder, another person was blamed and eventually executed. Just read that. it's interesting.

H. H. Holmes, another serial killer. Watched a good documentary about him a while ago. He was very successful in running his hotel and killing people in it, the man even killed the love of his life. After killing a few he couldn't stop.
