If you are referring to a nightcore stuff, then NO.
It originates from some Noweign band, but it is actually a style that speeds up dance, trance, techno and industrial compositions.
But, you can speed/pitch up almost anything.
It is supported by random people who actually appreciated manga,  wanting to make their favorite characters sing popular songs.

I'm a fan of Mariah Carey, but mostly during her earlier career. I am also a fan of Whitney Houston.

The songs by them were awesome. I too am a fan. I also liaten to Mark Anthony, Enrique, Sean Paul (what a vocal that guy has!! I juat love the base) and many others.

For me there are some songs like:
Seinabo sey-Younger
Kygo with kodaline- Raging
Bacilos- Caraluna
hellogoodbye- The thoughts gives me the creeps

I really like them, they have the power of touching my "soul" :D

This is one of my favorites. They always have deep meanings. Nightwish is great!
