What Do you think is gonna happen 2012?

What's going to happen in 2012, is just the same stuff that happens every year.  I can't tell you exactly what big events may happen, as I simply cannot foresee the future.  Major tragic catastrophic events happen every year.  Each year has its defining event.  But let's get to what this is really about, the whole world ending thing.  Yeah, I don't really see it happening.  Why at all would the universe, or anything, give any care to our little insignificant planet just floating around in the middle of things?  We are basing all of this off of a man-made time system, with numbers that just happen to be the same in the date, and saying something big is going to happen because of it.

The year 2012 means nothing to the universe, or anything outside out own world.  It's not the year 2012 anywhere but on Earth.  Nothing is going to happen, the world isn't going to end, and if it did then the universe would just keep on floating along, with not a tiny bit of notice to us at all.

Nothing will happen and people will just continue their daily lives.

I do wonder how many people will freak out though, regardless of what happens.  Part of me just thinks that out there might be a few crazies who just know that things are going to end, and because of that are going to do stupid things.  Maybe some will go looting or just go on a crime spree, because it won't matter to them.  Maybe some will end up killing themselves in a cult-like fashion because the world is about to end.  Who knows.  I just hope no one goes too overboard with it.

Pretty much.  Unless you're able to see into the future somehow, the only thing we can all day is just wait for it to come.  And when it does, if something happens, you won't be able to do anything to stop it anyway, so you might as well not let it even bother you.

Nah, actually, I think what most people have said.

Everyone will be killing themselves/each other to save themselves from the world ending. Which in turn, may cause the world to be put under massive destruction/the world ending. Stupid humans.

Nothing's going to happen in 2012. It's all just some silly rumour that some guy came up with and thought it would be funny to spread.

Ladies and gentleman, I would strongly advise you to stay at home on December 21 with a weapon of some kind to prevent hysterical people from doing crazy things. ;)

Nah, I'm just joking. Personally, I feel that nothing of significance will happen in 2012. There's always the possibility, considering the crazy world we all live in. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody tried to do something crazy on 21 December 2012 thanks to the publicity the day has received. :P
