WHAT IS YOUR COUNTRY MOST KNOWN FOR?

I have the feeling that this thread was probably made before considering it a predetermined question, but whatever it may be ...

The thing could go from a type of food to ... a past event, literally anything.

For example, I am from Northern Ireland and I guess we would be better known for building the Titanic or for the "Problems" in the 70s and 90s, which was when the country was a war zone, politically and physically. Literally, I saw a video of a guy named Michael Stone throwing grenades and shooting people at a funeral, quite crazy.

My country is most known for the eifel tower, than ofc we have baguettes an wine!!
