Earphones or headphones for gaming?

Do you prefer to use earphones over headphones while playing video games? If so, what are the reasons for it?

I once tried earphones while gaming and it was a terrible experience. They were constantly falling and the audio wasn't that good as the audio coming from my headphones. Well, there are people who still prefer earphones. One reason which I can think of why is that the audio being separated helps some people in games like CS:GO to hear the enemy better.

I use a Turtle Beach gaming headset when I play.

I'm a headphone guy all the way when I'm gaming. I feel that when I wear earphones, even when listening to music, they just dangle around and fall out whenever they possibly can. Even when I've used some great brands my ears just do not seem to be able to take to them. Headphones for me are much more 'stable' on my head, give me better sound options and just look a lot more sleek. I love stuff that looks good on my desk haha. I currently have a pair of Razer Krakens and they just go well with all my other Razer peripherals in terms of keeping the look consistent. Plus they're a great pair of headphones in terms of quality - haven't gotten this level of quality from a pair of earphones yet.

Headphones because they look cooler.
