Is sports betting destroying our fields? I watched news about how tennis players fixing matches  in favor of  other guys who bet for money. They are then paid a lot of money for influencing the results.

Yes it ruins our fields but makes people a lot of money. I have somebody who gives me all the results of fixed matches in all sports and let me tell you I have a lot of money from this. If you ever hear of a fixed match my advice to you is to bet. And by the way if you have not yet gotten into sports betting, please do not. It is highly addictive.

Sports betting is not official in our part of the world but it is one of the spoilsports destroying the games and sports persons. I guess it should be made official, taxed heavily and the proceeds used for welfare of needy and homeless.

Money talks in every aspects of life! I just don't know how they manage the games to be fixed like that, and why would the players agree to either win or lose in a match. It would make sense that they play to win/lose naturally since it is the nature of the competition.

I personally think sports betting is a legit thing to do. It is like a hobbie, and almost like every hobby out there, it is fun and it's supposed to be fun. Of course there are some problems, like match-fixing that occurs often in the football world, but that isn't our fault.

I bet in sports for two years now, and I like it. I bet in sites like 365 bet.

Unfortunately sports betting and match fixing have found their way into many major sports. I am a boxing fan and I have seen many atrocious decisions that were obviously made for some people's financial gain. It is not uncommon for fighters to even throw away matches for a fee from the big gainers.

Very true. Sports betting has become very common now. I don't think that there is even one sport field which is untouched by it. I ruins the essence of the game. It is cheating not only the country but the fans as well. The players who do this should be banned.

Sports betting as probably been around for as long as sport itself has, so I'm not sure if there's going to be ANY new regulations that can be brought in, to limit the damage it's doing to the actual sport.

You only have to look at cycling to see what cheats can do to a sport, and while drug taking might be a very different form of cheating, it all amounts to the same thing in my eyes.
