I remember good old days when the only most treasurable item that kept us connected to the outside world was an old fashioned radio. With a huge knob for tuning, one can get new, movies and music all in audio formats! Till late 2012 I still used to tune in sometimes to radio station to listen to some all time favourite music. Do you still tune in to a radio?

I would still listen to the radio if the music was any good. I know they still play music from before but not as much as they used to .I hear music from today more and I don't like it. I need to listen to music that I appreciate not music that can be more of a bad influence to children.

Nope because it is filled with mainstreamed manufactured crap. I may consider a classic radio but not modern radio that is filled with Modern American songs filled with sexual lyrics and lyrics that glorifies drugs.

Nope. With the internet, I can hear what I want when I want. I don't need to listen to what radio want me to. Actually, since the CD came out I don`t listen to radio. Why listen to the radio when i got my music in my pocket?
Ps: I only listen to the radio when I need to hear the news. But i usually do this on internet too.

An internet is the greatest thing for news, but also for the streaming - you can have live radio station aired online as well. We have a local news radio stations that are really good and pretty much in every institution you will have a radio.
You don't even have to have a device, just PC or a gadget to tune in.
There is also a way for the amateurs to have a radio station and I am surprised that none of native English speakers in these 'community' mills didn't come up with that idea.

Yes, actually, for me radio is my main source to find new music, and youtube is just a way to keep everything organized. There's a radio station on my country that broadcast several indie groups from all over the world and is my main source to find new bands and music that I like.

Lol, I still have a 5 cd, 2 tape cassettes, radio which I love, it might end up being a part of a museum someday, or sold at an auction someday. I don't use it much at all, but It's still nice to use once in a (very) while. Everything now is so modern, I appreciate it as Decentlady said, it's a treasure to those of us who only knew of the radio before all this new technology came along.
