Nowadays if you ask a parent what he wants his kids to be in future he will say he need a doctor, engineer or software professional.  But nobody is ready to see their kids as a farmer.  But we can’t blame them too.  The job of a farmer is not so easy and also they never get the same amount of respect from the society.  But in fact they are the people who keep us alive.  Even if you are a doctor, engineer, software professional or even the President of a country you cannot survive without food for long.

I think world leaders should think of giving farming the most needed attention and respect.  Without farmers we cannot survive and Government should encourage youth to come forward in farming by offering attractive hi-tech agriculture plans and discounts.  In our country a lot of farmers commit suicide due to bankruptcy. So it is clear that they will never want to see their kids in the same profession.

I agree, I think that many people treat farmers and blue collar workers in general as if they were second class citizens, and as you have correctly pointed out, without the services they provide none of the other professionals would be able to do their jobs. Blue collar workers should be more respected and get more benefits than what they currectly recieve from the government

Yes I think so, at least in our country farmers are the last beneficiaries of government schemes which is forcing them to migrate to cities making the situation even worse. If the farmers do not get their share in near future the world's food situation will go out of hands.

Let's see. They provide most our resources and without them, there won't be any other jobs or at least much so yes, I think so. They deserve as much or even more attention.
