I think it is more of an addiction or psychological disorder you can say.  I am also not sure if it has something to do with clinical disorder.  But China is in the right track.  It is the need of the hour.  This anti-human disorder is spreading like wildfire, especially among kids and young generation.  It hampers their socializing skills which is quite essential for their future life.  They usually live in a virtual world and for them any setbacks in real life would be very difficult to handle. Sometimes it may even lead to suicides.  Advent of smartphones and tablets has actually added fuel to fire.

I think so. I know of some people that have gotten into accidents by just not paying attention to where they're going while using the internet on their phone. It can be more of an obsession but I think that there should be programs that treat it as addiction to seriously stop this insane and ridiculous use of internet outside your home. In your home, I think it's fine but if you go out and can't live without your internet, it starts getting to the point of an illness.

Correct. Be used to internet ''life'' can actually hinder your social skills which most likely cause you to feel lonely which in the long run depression and God forbid, suicide.
