Who influenced you to go for your chosen sport?

Do you have people in your life that made you choose and master the sport that you are into today? How did they influence you? For me, I am not that sporty due to my health condition, but there is this one PE teacher of mine in college that motivated me to play basketball. I really don't know how to play that game, but I can see it in him that he has interest in teaching me at least the basic skills. But it did not sink in to me to play the game since I just cannot. However, he was such a good teacher. Until now, I can still remember him, and at this point, I have heard that he has taken over a coaching job for a university basketball team in their place.

Dennis Bergkamp inspired me to become a soccerplayer for sure! The amazing goals that guy scored! Wow!
