Hello there Fellow Forum Members, I was wondering if I can have some opinions on making some investments in some Bitcoin "Mining" Machinery. I know the currency rate is vastly rising but at the same time declining very fast. Was at about $1,100 USD per Bitcoin mid-way through November 2013 and now is at roughly 800 (February 5, 2014). But as the Currency goes up the "Arithmetic" problems are getting bigger, longer and harder to solve. And any good "Pool" (Bitcoin Mining Group(s)) that are a good idea to join. And Bitcoin or Litecoin?

-Thank you

I would personally mine Litecoin, at the moment.
I know many people who have found that it is a better investment at the moment for low-volume mining.

This might not be too useful of an answer but most say bit coin is not worth mining any more, and if you don't have a top notch pc / miner, it really isn't. I think that litecoin as the other person mentioned is a much better choice.

I wouldn't invest one thing right now.

Well... Thank you for that link. I guess I am not putting my money into that. Lol... Guess I'm buying a new graphics card or 16GB of Crosshair Vengeance RAM.

It would probably be a good investment since bitcoin is at a low price.

I thought about beginning to mine Bitcoin but I began to mine DogeCoin instead, mainly because I got into it pretty early and hopefully because of that I can hopefully make a little money.

Litecoin over bitcoin at the moment. As Asic miners are very necessary now all sha-256 coins will get instantly raped to hell.

Litecoin is scrypt, making it more "fair." Just get a few amd graphics cards and you'll be set. And as a side now, penguincoin and dogecoin are more profitable than litecoin at the moment.
