Should i get a mechanical keyboard for gaming?

Must have:
-Backlight
-Different color WASD Keys.
-Programmable extra keys

Rght now, I'm stuck with my raptor LK1 membrane.

Which works fine, but sadly is not backlit.

I use the Logitech G15 keyboard; and I have too say it's a beast. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a more serious gaming keyboard.

Depends for what games, if you playing fps games and LoL then get a keyboard for $5, i used it for 6 years and worked perfectly till today.
But i bought mechanical keyboard when i started to playing Starcraft 2 because it was really needed in that game.

My current keyboard is: CM Storm Quickfire TK

I have a TT mechanical keyboard. It does have any extra keys.

You should look at ducky keyboards.

Although it's not a mechanical keyboard I use the SteelSeries Apex keyboard, it's backlit, has a bunch of macro keys and everything is colour changeable.

Honestly, if I were you I would get a mechanical keyboard. The reason being is there not only good for gaming but they're really good for general typing. There very responsive as well as very nice to the touch when you are typing. For instance for me I got the Razer 2013 Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard and I must say I can type on this keyboard for days. It just feels really nice and super easy for me to do so.

You should get a mechanical. It'll be the only keyboard you'll need.
Sounds nice and smooth, then can register 3 keys compared 2 on a regular keyboard. Might not be a HUGE difference but when gaming it comes in handy to spam 3 keys.
