AMD APU

Has anyone here used, or is anyone currently using an AMD APU?
If so, which one?

How well does it handle gaming?

I think that the AMD APU is a waste of an invention. There's no reason to mix graphics cards and processors. I personally think it's absurd, IMO.

I personally disagree.
AMD APUs are supposed to do a fairly good job at gaming.
I have seen the new Intel Haswell processors with Iris Pro play Skyrim on a near-4k resolution.
AMD APUs are also generally more powerful than Intel HD, therefore, they must be good for something.
