Your Favorite Invention?

What is your favorite invention of all time?
Mine is probably the computer. However, that ties with the internet.

I'm not sure if I have an absolute favorite, and if I do I know it'll change over time. But coming back from a camping trip, I really love my compass.

Internet Pornography. And the computer....... And the internet. lol

I'd have to go with computer/internet.

The wheel. Why ?
Well, without the wheel, we wouldn't have had an Industrial Revolution, nor we would have modern inventions like cars, airplanes etc.
[spoiler]jk. But really, the wheel is probably the most important invention ever.[/spoiler]

Internet because it's changed the world in so many ways.

Its not really world-affecting, but for a technology class in high school about bioluminescence techniques developed by emmet chapelle, which was very interesting. He tried to get nasa to use his dectectors a sa means for searching for alien life. However, it found more practical use in agriculture and world heath, and it could detect bacteria content in food and water and atp levels in plants to determine their health.

Otherwise, the discovery of antibiotics was very interesting.

My favorite invention would have to be the internet.
