Anyhow, I'm more of a hybrid between Christianity and Atheism. I believe in God and Jesus, however I don't believe the Earth and society just showed up. I believe that God created science, and then science created the Earth. I believe the Big Bang was a miracle of sorts created by God, and then he just kinda laid out the plan of evolution and species, etc...
I don't believe that Science just showed up, and perfectly led to things being the way it is now. However, if you DO believe that, I'm fine with that. I'm just stating my own beliefs :)
Your statement is self contradictory.
Atheists lack the belief in God.
Christians believe in God.
Please explain how you can be a hybrid between Christianity and Atheism. You're either a Christian who believes in God and Science, or an Atheist who believes in science. It's either this or that.

Oh jeez, a dense person. Alright well, let's explain this the best I can. A hybrid of an animal for example. The hybrid takes traits from both animals.
It takes 1 trait from Animal A.
It takes 3 traits from Animal B.
Now, while the hybrid here doesn't take many traits from Animal A, it still does have a similarity. Therefore, it is still considered a hybrid between the two animals. That's pretty much what's going on here. I take the belief of Science from Atheism, and I take the belief in a God/Jesus from Christianity. Therefore, I would call it a hybrid of beliefs. It's fairly simple.

I disagree, there are many scientists that believe in God but still believe and study the theory of evolution because there is evidence to back it up.

It's called being Agnostic. You believe in a higher power but follow no religion. You know you were created by some type of God but just don't follow it.

I am not a dense person. It's just that some people can't handle the opinions of other people, especially when it seems to be offensive to them.
Not all atheists believe in Science, some are ignorant. In fact, atheism does not imply believing in Science. You could believe in aliens and disapprove of the existence of God itself, simple as it is. Atheists are mainly known for their lack of belief in God, which is why I have said that you're either one or the other.
Some Christians can tolerate other people and even work in the field of Science, while still believing in God. Your statement is wrong on so many levels about atheists necessarily only believing in Science. Some believe in the paranormal, others believe in magic. Just check WizardForums and you'll see what I mean.
I do know what the word "hybrid" means, but thanks for the explanation.
And next time, don't get yourself in a discussion if you are going to get all 'personal' over it. Not trying to whine about rep, but you did -rep me for my belief concerning what you are. Debates are no place to cry over what one may think of your beliefs, you should respect that, if you don't, then discussing might not be your thing.

I don't really have a "religion", rather just a way of life and my personal morals. I personally think religion is quite stupid but i'm not one to down other people for living their life.

I -repped you because of this, and a few other low quality posts I've seen from you. I get that not all Atheists believe in science, but MOST of them do.
P.S. I honestly don't understand why you are debating about this. Who cares what I call my beliefs? I can call my beliefs whatever the fuck I want. Point being: They are my beliefs. That's all you need to know. Let me, as a person, judge what my beliefs should be called, and that's it. End of story. Oh and sorry for late response, I just didn't expect you to carry on with an argument that is primarily based on "i don't like what you call your beliefs."
That's stupid.

I only have 15 posts. I didn't know one could judge on a few posts. Oh, excuse me. I'm wrong. I had 10 posts, I posted 5 times yesterday or so.
See? I have given you valid arguments, and you're telling me about who can tell you what your beliefs are.
You were wrong about the hybrid part. Being an atheist does not mean that you assuredly believe in Science, once again. You may believe in the paranormal or in magic and still lack the belief in God.
To me, the only one shitposting here is you.

I was raised catholic, went to an all boy's catholic school all my life and to tell you the truth I don't know.
I mean Its not that I don't believe in any higher power or whatever or the afterlife but I am skeptical about it. I mean I could be wrong and there is some higher power out there, but I don't know.
I think its enough that I believe in myself and what I can do, if there is a higher power then good, if there isn't then whatever.
I think that's similar to Pascal's wager.

You're pretty much Agnostic. Nothing wrong with being that.
