How to Create an abstract Signature!

Hey Perkforums,

Step 1

First, you want to make the document, this needs to follow the guidelines for HF's signatures (650 x 200 pixels)

Step 2

Next, make your background black.

Step 3

Now, you want to use abstract brushes in white all over. The brushes I used are at the bottom of this tutorial.

Step 4

Next, you want to make a new layer above the background, and use a circle brush with a hardness of "0" to paint colors over the white.

Tips: Leave white areas and use two different colors that are dark and light because it gives a shiny effect.

Step 5

Change the layer to "Color Burn" and you will get an effect like this:

Step 6

We will now add depth and blur to the middle, which is looking somewhat bland. Make a new layer and add same color designs with a brush hardness of 55.

Step 7

We will add a radial blur (zoom) with 100% and with the best quality. Then click okay


You can use CTRL + F ( or CMD + F on Mac) to blur it as much as you would like. In this picture, I blurred a total of 8 times.


Now you can add text or whatever!

Not tryna be a asshole (excuse my language) but you could have just made your username the same as the user on HF...

I do not have the .psd any more as I did have to reformat my HD.

Looks nice, but I don't really like that radial blur or text.
